Studying in Barcelona
Barcelona is, after Madrid, the second biggest city of Spain and one of the most aspired destinations by the students of whole Europe, because is considered the perfect compromise between study and fun.
With its population of about 1.700.000 inhabitants, Barcelona is the capital of the Autonomous Community of Catalonia. Barcelona overlooks directly the Mediterranean Sea from the Costa Brava and, at the same time, is not so far away from the Pyrenees mountain chain and, for this property, agrees both lovers of sea and fans of mountain.
By the way, if you are looking for a city culturally vibrant and full of entertainment for young people, Barcelona is certainly the good answer, because offers a lot of Universities, museum, art and events as weel as different solutions to enjoy your leisure.
If you are going to travel to Barcelona for your Erasmus, you have to know that in Barcelona there are two official languages (catalan and spanish) and, unfortunately, is not an economic city where living in, also if it depends, naturally, on your style of life.
